Eastern Cape

The Eastern Cape stretches from the Great Karoo to the beautiful Knysna Forests and is home to great beaches and nature reserves. The Eastern Cape is also well known  for the surf and is therefore a surfers paradise with holiday towns that is home to stunning accommodation. The East coast forms the hub of the Eastern Cape and is by far the most popular tourism destinations that also provides the best activities and attractions, however, the inland towns are rich in cultural and historical heritage and is worth a visit. Game drives and hot air ballooning are some of the many activities available in the province while the Addo National Elephant Park provides some of the best scenic destinations available. Visible in the Addo are Africa’s big seven including the Great White shark and whales. The Addo is also home to several festivals like the famous Addo Rose Festival and provides activities like elephant back safaris.
